GrandMaster Andy Ah Po is mentor to the British Tang Soo Do Federation. Having begun Martial Arts training in his native Hawaii at the age of 6 GrandMaster Ah Po left the islands in 1959 to join the US Air Force. 2007 marked GrandMaster Ah Po's 60th year in the Martial Arts and his 48th as a practitioner of Tang Soo Do. In 1966 GrandMaster Ah Po was one of the pioneers of the 'full time Martial Arts studio' opening his first centre in Carmichael, he still teaches from his current studio in Sarcamento, California. GrandMaster Ah Po was a legendary competition fighter in the 60s and 70s.
In 2000 GrandMaster Ah Po was promoted to 8th Dan by Moo Duk Kwan founder,   Great GrandMaster Hwang Kee. In 2002 GrandMaster Ah Po founded the Tang Soo Do Martial Way Association. Today GrandMaster Ah Po also serves as the direct Instructor to three Internationally renown Tang Soo Do GrandMasters' each running their own highly successful organisations. 
Master John Dove is the Midlands Regional Instructor for the British Tang So Do Federation having been a keen and active Martial Arts student since 1982. Master Dove opened his first Tang Soo Do school in Kenilworth in 1992.
He sites the refinements seen in the later development of the art for his continued fascination with Tang Soo Do and as playing a decisive role in the long term health benefits derived from regular practice. In the summer of 2008 Master Dove had the privilege of experiencing GrandMaster Ah Po's lengthy KoDanJa testing process. His favourite Martial Arts quotation is taken from the Muyae Dobo Tongji;  'we only want to train'. He maintains a personal training regime of 'forms and conditioning'.
Master Simon Preston is Regional Instructor for the West Midlands. Being a Head of Maths Department and teaching from a platform of twenty years Martial Arts experience Master Preston is well placed to extol the benefits of Martial Arts for young people. He believes the improved concentration gained through regular attendance can really give youngsters an educational head start. Master Preston instigated our Federation's 'Smart Moves' programme for engaging secondary school aged students to the benefits of Martial Arts practice.  
Mr Alex Woodmason is the Regional Instructor for the South West.
Mr Woodmason is a Physical Education Teacher whose extensive Tang Soo Do experience   has been augmented by the study of Ki Gong. Combine that with his eleven years as a practicing Tang Soo Do Black Belt and you get the recipe for a very successful and growing Region of classes.
 
Mr Charlie Featherstone is Regional Instructor for the North East.
Mr Featherstone's extensive Tang Soo Do and varied Martial Arts experience combine with his 20 years as a Civil Service Enforcement Officer to make his family orientated classes a real hit for those who feel that stranger danger and threat awareness are vital ingredients in Martial Arts classes that cater for all ages. Mr Featherstone's infectious enthusiasm drives the North East Region which is the newest to join the family of the British Tang Soo Do Federation.
Master Adam Preston is Regional Instructor for the South East .
His Tang Soo Do accomplishments include performing technical demonstrations for key figures in the Martial Arts community. As a part of his ongoing 'KoDanJa' process (Master assessment) Master Preston has just completed our Federation's introduction to basic forms DVD. This fantastic training aid is aimed at helping beginners acquire a directionally correct routine for the practice of Basic Form One.
